Grainger needed to get personnel up to speed on Power Transmission (PT) and give them a basic understanding how Grainger helps with parts and diagnostics in order to win Repair and Maintenance PT business from their light manufacturing client base. The problem: with Grainger personnel overwhelmed with information, the PT learning communication would have to differentiate itself to have a chance of earning mindshare.
With engagement and speed to competency a game-based learning solution launched to wide and enthusiastic acceptance and resonated with internal constituents. Three game modules put PT in context showing how PT works, how to find it on the factory floor and how impacts Granger's bottom line.
