Through The Campaign for Nursing's Future, Johnson & Johnson supports the nursing profession. A key part of this support is helping nurses nationwide make the difficult and critical transition from bedside nurse to Nurse Manager.
The Nurse Manager Orientation game helps Nurses in this difficult transition via an intuitive, easy-to-use simulation format. The first step in development was to integrate content from real nurses to create an authentic simulation. The program presents Nurse Managers with a series of scenarios and problems in a videogame environment in which they must make quick decisions about how best to manage their team and foster a successful workplace. With a ticking clock, a scoreboard for right answers and coaches and mentors to give tips and reinforce each answer, it's a fun and fast-paced format.
