Nokia needs retail sales reps to recommend its handsets first in the face of compelling competitive handset offerings. To get maximum top of mind awareness with reps - Nokia now deploys game-based training with "learn and earn" incentives - and gets them competing for cultural 'bragging' rights in nationwide competitions.
Nokia's B3 Rider is one of 3 Sales training programs that BrandGames™ has produced for Nokia.
BrandGames™ leveraged the cultural power of the 2006 Winter Olympics to drive participation among Nokia's young, hip sales force. B3 rider engages these reps with an exciting snowboarding game and then challenges them to correctly answer product knowledge questions in mid-air as they race down the slalom course in the snow. Players get points for executing flips, spins and other tricks but get really big bonus points for correctly answering handset form factor questions as they play. Winners are posted to a weekly leaderboard and top contestants receive snowboard merchandise and other winter-themed prizes.
